The Auburn Education Association works with the Auburn School District through the labor management team to negotiate the agreement between certified staff and the school district. The negotiation agreement is for three years. The agreement also covers the school calendar. The current agreement is effective September 1, 2009 to August 31, 2011.

Labor Management Team

 TheLabor Management Team (LMT) is the negotiating body for agreements between the Auburn Education Association and the Auburn School District.

The Labor Management Team is composed of up to five (5) AEA members and five (5) Auburn School District Administrators.  Meetings of LMT take place monthly during the school year.
The Association Members are representative of both elementary and secondary levels.
