Below is an updated Legislative Hotline phone script for this week – special session hotline hours are shorter, and we’re focused on SB 5929, the new revenue bill. Here is more information about SB 5929: https://www.washingtonea.org/ourvoice/post/no-budget-senate-republicans-resort-to-cynical-stunt/

Leave a message with the live operators at the Legislative Hotline, 800-562-6000 between 8 am and 4:30 pm on weekdays. They’ll ask for your name, address and phone number. Be sure to call on your personal phone during non-work time. You don’t have to know your legislators’ names or your legislative district. Here’s the message you might leave for your state Senator:
My name is ________________ _______________ and I am a _______________ in the ______________ School District.
Please support Senate Bill 5929, which will help raise the revenue we need to fully fund public schools and protect higher education and social and health services.
